Hall Cosplay Contest
Think your Kakashi costume is pretty hot stuff? Prove it. NYAF’s Hall Cosplay Contest is for newer, younger, more casual cosplayers, as well as serious cosplayers who prefer not to walk across stage. It is a closed-door judging of costumes only -- so you don’t have to worry about performing in front of a crowd.
Lucky Star "Dance Like You Want To Win" Contest
The New York Anime Festival and Bandai Entertainment invite you to grab a camera, gather a few friends, and dance around NYC! We want to see you dance to Lucky Star's "Motteke! Sailor Fuku!" in front of one of New York City's most iconic landmarks and have a stack of Lucky Star DVDs and New York Anime Festival Weekend Passes to help convince you to get on your feet!
World Cosplay Summit Masquerade
This is it. This is your time to be a star. The New York Anime Festival is proud to again participate in the World Cosplay Summit -- the Olympics of Cosplay -- with Team USA being selected right here! Strut your stuff on stage, and if your costume and your performance are good enough, you’ll be heading to Japan!
