Got your ticket to the New York Anime Festival? No? You can register right here! Got your ticket to the New York Anime Festival now? Yes? Awesome! Your ticket will get you in the door and get you access to our Exhibition Hall, hundreds of panels and screening, contests, performances, autograph sessions, and Q&As with all of our guests.

But what if you want more? The New York Anime Festival has a short list of Special Events that require an additional ticket to enter. Special Events include our biggest concerts and special meet-ups (and tea parties) with some of our guests.

If you want to attend any of the Special Events listed here, simply order a ticket and a NYAF staff member will e-mail you within two days (Monday through Friday) with a confirmation and additional event information. 	Far East To East Showcase Want to experience Japanese rock and punk in New York City? You've got to get yourself down to the Knitting Factory! The guys at Karaterice are bringing the bands BakuBeni, echostream, Falsies on Heat, The Notorious MSG, Quaff, Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re, and their friends to the Knitting Factory (74 Leonard Street) on Saturday, September 27 for an explosion of innovative Japanese sound. The doors are scheduled to open at 6:30 PM, and the show is scheduled to kick off an hour later. Experience the power, the emotion, and the sensation of Japanese rock and punk from one of New York's most famous musical landmarks. Tickets are $18 and available now at knittingfactory.com.


	Hideyuki Kikuchi Birthday Party - $125 Vampire Hunter D author Hideyuki Kikuchi turns 59 on September 25, the day before the start of the New York Anime Festival. Yet, preparing for all his panels and autograph sessions, he won't have time for a proper birthday dinner until NYAF ends. Kikuchi-san will be celebrating his birthday from 6-8 PM on Sunday, September 28 at a restaurant in Midtown Manhattan with Yoshitaka Amano, Kevin Leahy, and -- possibly -- you! Kikuchi-san wants to celebrate his birthday with ten of his most die-hard American fans, and if you think you're one of them, reserve your seat now. A ticket to Kikuchi-san's birthday includes appetizers, a salad, an entrée, dessert, birthday cake, unlimited coffee, tea, and soft drinks, and autographs from Kikuchi-san, Amano-san, and Mr. Leahy. 	mc chris Concert - $10 Addictive beats and lyrics paying tribute to anything and everything a geek could love have made mc chris is one of the most unique, provocative, and poignant voices in hip hop today, and the New York Anime Festival is proud to bring him home to New York City! mc chris's concert begins at 8:30 PM on Friday, September 26 in the Jacob Javits Center. To attend you will need a mc chris Concert Ticket along with a Weekend, Friday, Professional, Press, or Exhibitor Badge.
